Re-Purpose Vintage Style

I Love using Vintage bits and pieces
to Create my Posy Pockets. Here is
a couple finished Pockets that I've
just completed.

My Studio space is a never ending mess,
I am always bringing out different containers
with treasures for my projects.
All year long I find yummy bits to add to
My Studio stash

If you've been following my Blog
I'm sure you have figured out my passion
for Vintage Greeting Cards

I love the Cards from the Late 40's to 60's
Mostly Children's Cards
And in my Treasure Hunting I seem to acquire
a lot of Scrap Books

I have decided a great way to re-purpose
Old Scrap Book Pages would be to just add
A cute crepe ruffle and a little bling
A colorful Ribbon or Seam Binding
and you've created a Holiday Wall Hanging

Pretty Simple and a great way to display
your Vintage Valentine Collection.

I'm also working on some of my Re-purposed
Ice Cream Cups. I love turning them into
precious little Party Favor Cups.

I have a lot of other Vintage re-purposed Items
That I am working on so I will make sure to
get more photos posted here to share. Hope
your making some time this New Year to get creative.
All work and no play makes us girls miserable!

Happy 2010!

What a great idea to just hang the pages! That way there's no chance of tearing them when you try to remove them! ♥

Diane, I have just loved going through these past posts. Happiness can be found here. Your violet pictures especially touched me. Didn't we all have a grandmother or aunt who grew violets in the window. I am Pay Pal free now, but may I ask if you accept money orders? I can't recall. A Valentine Posy will be the last I need for my collection! Have fun creating with all your treasures, we sure do enjoy your messes! E

Hi Diane,
Your vintage Valentines are so cute-what a treasure trove you have! They don't make them that cute anymore...who wants Avatar Valentines, anyway? I flipped when I saw the ice cream cups...I would love to find some of those!

Hi Diane!

What fabulous treasures you create...I love them! Your card collection is just fabulous and boy did you bring back some great memories with the vintage Valentine's Day cards. Being a young girl in the 60's I remember these...wish I would have kept them!

Your repurposed ice cream cups are super adorable!

Love and hugs,
