Some of my Favorite Things

When you open a drawer to my
China Hutch this is what you will find...

Vintage Linens and Butterscotch Bakelite

A jar filled with Beach Treasures
each one hand plucked from a
white sandy Florida beach~

and a Miniature hand carved cottage~
sits on the table in my entry way

The shelves In my Studio
are rather colorful

I love using glass jars for storage
it's nice to see my supplies
they also add to a whimsical display.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today I,ve been so
busy with my new Real Estate Office
that I have just not had much time
for play these days.
Hope your enjoying your Summer~

I love all the gorgeous old crocheted and embroidered linens in your drawer! And the glass jars make wonderful storage... you can see it easily, but the lid means you don't have to worry about dust getting all over each little tiny piece. That is something I have been thinking about a lot as I try to re-organize my sewing space. I don't want to get all these gadgets out to display only to create a lot more housework for myself.

What wonderful linens and crochet pieces. Sure do love the storing items in jars. I just may have to do that witha few of my things. I am in the process of redong the craft room. Would add a bit of whimsey to it.
