Getting Christmas Goodies out to Play

Well I finally just moved forward..
Saturday evening I got a couple of tubs
from the Attic and started to
un-pack my Christmas Treasures

I decided to bling my Hutch all
in Traditional Red & Green Holiday colors
I still need to add my snow
and setup my little groupings

(my hutch was hand-crafted by my hubby
all the wood used was old fence board)

But I thought I would share with you
where I'm at to this point
it's a start

For some reason I was just having a hard
time getting motivated this year.
We've had so much going on and each
holiday is just coming faster
then I can keep up with

Now the challenge this year is where
to put our tree..

(this grouping of Ornies you can find for sale in my Shop)

Remember we have 7 little grands
4 years and under so I'm sure we will
stick with a small tree
set on top of my Vintage Trunk.
It's no fun to constantly have to say "no"
"don't touch Grandmas pretties.."

Adore the little cuties on the cake stands...what a clever idea!!

Yes we went with little trees this year also. I hate saying no also...but I let them touch my villages with me Nana standing there..it seems to please them.

I love all of your pretty vintage treasures! I see an elf...or Pixie (what I call them) sitting in a tea cup! How precious! I put my little pixies out today on a red ladder! ♥

Everything looks so beautiful, Diane...I think we love the same things!

I'm having a tough time getting super motivated to decorate, as well...the bins are all over my house...piles here & there waiting to be settled...I'm just tired! Oh well, we'll get it all done eventually, won't we?!

I am LOVING all your vintage Christmas and I spied some pixies in that cabinet. I did my tree last year in all pixies. You have some very sweet pieces.

You have such a great collection of pretties, Diane! I'm getting a hutch for Christmas and I plan on putting chiken wire in the doors too!

My grands come over tonight. My girls love my decorating and it's so fun to be near little ones again! Most of the time! Ha-ha!

I love all the little elves tucked in your cupboard. It is tough to keep little hands away from the pretty ornaments on a tree. I use a baby gate across the door to the living room... so they can see it but can't get near.
