Happy Dance Oh My!

Oh Yes I am thrilled....

I have been hoping and crossing my fingers
with each Estate Sale and visit to my Local Thrifts

I have even gone has far as telling my Sisters
who just like me love the "thrill of the hunt"
to keep their eyes peeled for "Vintage Chicks"

What do you mean they ask? Well, I explain
you know the kind we had in our Baskets in the 60's
Little wire wrapped feet, chenille bodies
and sweet little feather accents!

And yes it sounds has if they understood.....
But still no Vintage Chicks!
And then one morning to my surprise look
at what I find! Gasp....

A whole box of the little treasures!
Ok pinch me I'm in Vintage Chick Heaven!!!
Life is good...

And on another note...
We had a Winner for Little Miss Pinkie

The Winner Cindy
From Hellcatvintage she has a
Vintage Goodie Shop over on Etsy
so stop by sometime and visit her darling Shop.
Thank you all for playing along!
Happy Spring!

I had forgotten all about those sweet little chicks! I'm dating myself now, but I think I had them in the late 50's too. xo

OMG! A whole box full of chicks. I can't believe somebody saved all those cuties! I looked all over for just a few chicks and finally found a six-pack of teeny tiny new ones at our hospital gift nook. They are featured on my most recent post and I love them! I know you will create the cutest things with your chickies!

How funny you should have posted this. I was just thinking of these little chenille chicks the other day--and how impossible they are to find. Lucky you.

Second, I need a favor! Please, oh pleaaaaseee...can you tell me how to put a sidebar on blogger? I totally forget how I added my Etsy Shop and now want to add my second shop. I can't figure it out!!
