Petite Birthday Box Swap

Well ladies this is one long and one
very fun post...
Look at all the Wonderful Goodies
I got in the Mail....
Where do I begin...

This darling group of sweetness is from
one of my swap friends

Kris Pare she has one of the prettiest Blogs

The matchbox was altered in such a fun and
festive way...
And filled to the brim with goodness

And not only was the box loaded with
petite sweetness
She also included  a bag with a darling
mini tussie mussie and vintage
greeting card Images

I'm sure going to enjoy using all
the sweet stuff in my creations~

This 2nd Altered Matchbox
was from my sister Carrie
If you haven't been to her blog
you must pay her a visit...

We decided to do a one on one
swap keeping the theme
of Petite Birthday Swap

This was her first ever altered matchbox
and she sure did not disappoint!
Her box is just overflowing with delight!

Check out this sweet Petite Banner
that was also tucked inside her box~

Darling with a capital "D"

And the 3rd Box I received was from my
swap partner Cerri
I have always admired her Altered Art
and her Box is oh so charming~

When you visit her Blog be sure to
also check out her darling Shop

Again another Petite Box
filled with scrumptious goodies
bits of lace buttons and trims~

Like I shared in an earlier post
I don't get involved in many swaps
mostly because lack of time...
But I'm sure glad that I played along
In this swap~

Oh Diane, you have some of the loveliest treasures that evoke memories of a bygone era. I grew up in the 50's (born 53..yep I'm 59 1/2) and so many of theses "finds" as you call them used to sit on my mother's or grandmother's dresser. I was delighted to see you had become a follower of my blog. It was such a nice surprise to happen upon your blog in one of blog-hopping mornings. I feel like the little boy in the Family Circus trying to go from Point A to B and he ends up going ALL OVER everywhere.. That's how I feel when I start clicking and hopping. But then, I find some true treasures like your lovely blog. I live here in north Alabama almost on the Ala./Tenn, state line. Today it is around 104 and unusually it's not humid. We have such dreaded humidity with our heat but not so this past month. I'm certain Mr. Humidity is lurking and will poke his drippy, sweaty little nose into my business soon enough. You can't even go outside due to the heat. Fall is my favorite season. Your part of the country sounds beautiful. I've been to LA waaaay back in 1971 and then San Fran. in 1987. That's the extent of my California memories even though at age 3 my parents drove west and we drove the length of the state back in 1956. Believe it or not, I actually have a memory of going across the San Fran Bridge while dozing in the backseat of my parent's Buick. LOL!! I enjoyed chatting and blessings to you for stopping by my blog and becoming a follower!!

Hey Girl!
As usual, your posts don't disappoint! You're like a breath of fresh air.
During this horrible hot weather, I've been hiding away inside as much as possible. I recently inherited a box full of Ted's grandmother's Valentine cards back from the 1930s so have been busy scanning away.
You were one of the first people I've ever met in the Blog World and have appreciated all the beauty, inspiration, and ideas you've brought into my life.

Love ya!
