Busy New Year

This has really been a crazy
start of the New Year!

I had my Mothers house in Escrow and everything
was plugging along and then a snag with
the buyers loan... not good news

Had to cancel that Escrow and get the house back on the market!
The good news, have another offer and a new Escrow..

Been also looking for a 1st time home for our
Son and Daughter in law...

The crazy thing with the Real Estate Market right now
in California is the entry level priced homes
are being snatched up by investors...

The good news we have found them a place,
it too is in Escrow right now...

So keeping fingers crossed in
about 30 days things should
be better around my neck of the woods..
Keeping on the sunny side...
Hugs,

That really is a lot to take care of. I love looking at house but don't like the details of buying one. Love your pretty creations!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya all

Sometimes I wished I still lived in sunny California, not much sun in Missouri today

Sounds like things have been crazy for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed that both homes get closed on soon.

I kind of know what you are going through. We took care of my MIL's estate. It was so nice to get it over with, but it took about 18 months. I wonder if our lawyer put it on his back burner:)
Your Valentine things are so pretty. I haven't really started any Valentine's crafting. But I will this next week!

Thankyou for leaving a comment for me on my blog because now I can enjoy yours ! I am sure that feathers will be appearing on your path sometime soon. You will more then likely be so excited the first time one does !
Your blog is beautiful by the way. I too love these vintage treasures that you share here. They remind me of my childhood. I can't wait to now sift through your stories to take a look.

Diane, I am so happy for this good news all around. I can't even imagine what starter homes go for in California.
I am featuring your Valentine Kitten on my blog today. Diane, I can't say enough how much joy your art brings to me. I love that you offer it to us to buy!
Have a less busy weekend! E

Lots to keep you on your toes right now! They are really lucky to have you helping them through the process. First time homes, especially, can be daunting.
Stop by if you have a chance. I'm having a giveaway.

Buying and selling homes is so stressful! You get your hopes up only to have something go wrong. At least you're in the business and know the ins and outs of buying and selling. Good luck on the sale of your mother's home and to your son and daughter-in-law. Buying that first home is such and exciting time!

Valentine Kitty is adorable. :)
