So Long Christmas Hello Valentines Day

Well it was a very Nice Holiday Season indeed
we even had some cold Days here in California
making us all feel like Winter is really here!

I've been spending a few evenings in the Studio
working on some Valentines Day Creations~

I know what your thinking...
How could I just jump from one Holiday to the next
so quickly?

In all honesty it was really hard to put away
my Vintage Christmas, I love it so much
wouldn't it be fun to have a room that is set-up
with Christmas all year round?

We had lots of gifts under the tree for our Grands..
but sadly we missed 6 of the grands this year.
step-famlies can get complicated ...

Hubby and I decided this Christmas to gift ourselves
with a couple home improvements..

A "new" kitchen sink and Faucet!

And the other was a new toilet
but I figured you don't want or need to see
that, you'll just have to believe me when I tell
you it's an upgrade!

Today last day of 2015
Wishing you all a Very Happy New Year!
Love,

I do love your very Sweet Valentines. They just sing Valentine's Day! My grands are in Colorado - so, we didn't see them either. It makes for a bittersweet Christmas. My decorations will come down this week - but I am enjoying them so much. I did know a lady who had a year round Santa room - and an Angel room - and a garden room - and a little bear house outside....oh - that is just the beginning. Happy New Year!

I must say that I am not ready for Valentines but your cute little heartie things are adorable.
It's hard when part of your family is missing. Our daughter's family lives in Colorado and we are in Ohio. We try to go there every other year. We have3 sons that live here and their families, but she is all alone our west. No other family members.
Have a great New Year.

I'm already working on Valentines too, so you're not the only one! Glad you had a nice Christmas, we finally got snow here the day after, so it kind of felt like Christmas lasted for a couple of days. Happy New Year! :)

Ive always said I would like a cute little house for each holiday! fully equipped and perfectly decorated and set up for each one.. christmas, thanksgiving, valentines, Easter, 4th of july and Halloween. Maybe all on the same property surrounding a little lake and woodland.. complete with little white picket fences around each. lol! just dreaming.. then the decorating would never become a chore.. it would just be done and ready to enjoy! lol! though I have to say that I do enjoy unwrapping my "old friends" from year to year.. but it would be just as nice to walk through the first time and see them all out waiting for me to come home for the holiday! lol!! ok.. Ive got to get ready for work. Happy New Year my friend

Diane, you are the second person I've found that has already decorated for Valentines day. I think it looks beautiful! What would we do without these holidays to break the monotony and give us an excuse to redecorate? I have never decorated for Valentines day for some reason, probably because like now I still have Christmas up! Embarrassing but true! My husband insists on leaving it up, so that's my excuse. Thank you so much for visiting and letting me know you would still come back for more. It really means a lot to me. Have a wonderful week. Julie

Love the sink and I'm sure the toilet is great. Amazing how upgrades like this make us feel. Your tree is so pretty I'm sure it was hard to put away until next year. Love the Valentines pretties.
