Best Vitamin C Plucked from the Tree

Still feeling under the weather
Been dosing up on Green Tea
Zinc and Warm Soup

But today I actually got dressed and went
outside and picked myself
just about the best Vitamin C
Nature Has to offer...
Juicy oranges and big ripe lemons

Oh and I thought I'd share a picture
of a beautiful piece of jadeite
one of my sisters gifted me
It sure looks delightful amongst all that citrus
I'm counting on being well enough
to hit some sales this weekend..
fingers crossed...
Hope you are lucky enough
to dodge this flu bug..

Yum - I love lemons. My nephew (who lives near Sacramento) has a tree in his backyard, but I think they may have frozen this year, so we didn't get any.
Lucky you!

I'm enjoying all the citrus fruit in the stores (too far north for my own trees)
and if you ever get tired of that gorgeous Jadeite piece it can come live at my house!!!

Happy New Year to you! I hope you are feeling better real soon.
Lucky gal to fruit trees. When I lived in Florida ... I just loved getting up in the morning and picking an orange for breakfast.
I love your jadeite! It looks just beautiful next to the fresh friut and matchs your table cloth so nicely!

The thought of picking lemons in your own yard is so charming to me. My husband travels to LA for a week, and I have asked him to take lots of photos of the beautiful trees and flowers. So looking forward to your Valentine creations! Elizabeth
