Local Vintage Shop Visit

I Love Visiting Vintage Shops How about You?

A few years back just before COVID we had a wonderful
vintage shop right here in my hometown Newbury Park.
Then COVID it and it was gone.
The good news is now we have another Shop that is minutes from my home.
"The Old Conejo Cottage"
3833 Old Conejo Rd. Newbury Park CA 91320
It's always such a treat to visit.
So many wonderful vendors that keep
things fresh each week.
Here's a few pics I took a week ago.

This place is filled with treasures

Every corner is filled with a surprise.

One vendor has a large assortment of Vintage Quilts!

This reminded me of the movie with Lucy & Ricky
"The Long Long Trailer"

There is one booth filled with vintage trains.

Amazing collection of Milk Glass!

I try and visit the shop each week
the store hours are Thursday - Sunday
And every time I stop in things have changed.
More Vintage Goodies added!

This is one of my latest purchases a
West German Vintage Plush Dog from the 1930's.
He's just adorable and his head turns.
Don't you just love his red harness!

He's now part of my Patriotic Centerpiece!

Well Another week and I will definitely
popping in even just to look,
hope you enjoyed the small tour of this wonderful shop!

Finding Vintage Dolls in Random Places!

This is exactly what I spotted on a shelf at my local Goodwill Thrift Shop

I must say it looked pretty messed up but in looking a little closer
I spotted one of my favorites.... a Nancy Ann Storybook Doll!

When I got it home I carefully Removed the massive amount
of tape that was wrapped around this grouping.
Being ever so cautious not to cause too much damage.
Do you spot what I spotted the little doll with the
pale ink bonnett?

Now the other dolls that were in that little plastic tub
were not impressive but I do know that just sometimes
those cheap hard plastic dolls body parts can come in handy
when I have a long forgotten Storybook Doll
that in fact is in need of a new limb!

You ask "how much did I pay for these?"
A whole $2.99.. not a bad find!! 😊
